Metal Gear Kojima

Square Enix’s Play Arts makes some of the coolest action figures in existence. Their new Raiden figurine for Metal Gear Rising is no exception.

They recently sent Hideo Kojima himself a figure… of himself. They placed his on the thing instead of Raiden’s — the result is a one-of-a-kind action figure. Hideo took it a step further, removing his head from the figurine… and putting it on top of a Solid Snake figurine. It just goes to show, no one likes Raiden.

Nah, that’s not fair. I played the Revengeance demo and it is an incredibly cool game. I’m looking forward to the full thing for sure.

Uncharted: Fight for Fortune

Uncharted: Fight for Fortune, the latest Uncharted-related offering from SCE Bend Studios (the folks behind the excellent Uncharted: Golden Abyss) is a card-based strategy game dropped near the start of the month. It contains elements from all the Uncharted games, and from the Eye of Indra-video thing, and for an Uncharted fan (ie, anyone who owns a Playstation 3 or Vita), and at a mere $5, well, it’s probably worth the risk.

Dragonborn DLC for Skyrim: Details!

Bethesda dropped some news about the new DLC for everyone’s favourite levelling up sim SkyrimDubbed Dragonborn, players will get to go to Solstheim (remember the expansion pack Bloodmoon for Morrowwind? Bingo) and fight the first dragonborn and a bunch of other monsters. There will be werewolves too, and presumably not just yourself looking into a mirror.
